wombert:
I’m giving a presentation on Agavi at the PHP London User Group meeting on 2008-08-07. Their wiki has all the details, but here’s the short version:
Upstairs at Theodore Bullfrog from 7pm onwards. Admission is free.
Talk is first, discussion afterwards
Several Agavi developers, contributors and users will be there to answer questions etc.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Trickle -- A portable lightweight userspace...
I had lots of issues with some applications which suck whole bandwith of network and don’t allow other applicatons or users (in case of shared network connection) to use the connection.
I just asked this problem in #debian and Guerin introduces a nice tool called Trickle.
Wanna launch apt-get dist-upgrade? There we go
$trickle -d 10 -u 20 apt-get dist-upgrade
Done.
